To accommodate her toes
Silly me! Thanks for the fun, Victoria! 🙂

[…] For today’s prompt, I’d like you to choose one (or more if it suits you) of these word to use it the title or theme of a poem. To see the words, you can link up to the poem at https://liv2write2day.wordpress.com/2010/12/31/words-ive-never-used-in-a-poem/ […]

I was so sure there would be at least one word there that I’ve used in a poem. But I don’t think there is!

I have now…wrote one yesterday!

What a great list! Lots of fun. Who knows, though, these words might make it their mission to work their way into your future poems. :0)

I love this! You got me thinking words, wonderful words, how they roll off the tongue and treat the imagination of senses. Nuzzle, nudge, glorious fudge; nibble, nobble, gleaning foam. Ooooh, what fun.
Wishing you a very happy, prosperous and word-filled 2011

That was fun a great list of words that you are not too fond of 😀 and the words that do feature in your posts are impeccable!!

Excellent! I keep an excel file with words, phrases and other poetry inspiring tidbits. I am always surprised at how one word I never thought of using sets an entire piece in motion. You should take the most obscure word from your list, make that the title and then write a poem about the word.
I also want to send you many hugs and blessings for the New Year!
Be well,
Gio

I chose the words for rhyme and meter, but think most of them could work their way into a poem.

As I read your list, several of those words jumped out at me and started whispering, tickling my ear, waving flags, demanding that I listen. Thank you, love it when that happens,
Elizabeth

Nan and Madeleine…if you can do a wordle with all of those words, it will be one confused epic poem. :0) But now you’ve got me thinking.
