    I love this, it’s so happy and true. In Missouri I love to watch the hummingbirds at the trumpeter vines in the summer.


  4. I do love hummers. They are so quick as they dart about the feeders. I think it’s a miracle how fast their little wings move. Great poetic capture in your words!

    I believe they do thank us. I rescued one from my house. Once released from my oven gloves, she flew straight up into the air, then came straight back and hovered in front of my face for seconds! I was mesmerized.
