Submitted to SiS’s Daily Haiku Challenge: for which the prompt today is “cynosure.”

just look at me now
cosmic star burning brightly
center of my world

Cynosure: a person or thing that is the center of attention or admiration. The term originally denoted the constellation Ursa Minor, or the star Polaris that is contains. The photo is of Shirley Temple, early North American child star.
