Haze

Haze clings to the earth
like the dying grasp my hand
waits for light to call.

Today’s theme is haze.

  4. Very nice! Warm air and cold ground seems to be the way the days are starting out by me. I felt that especially in your last line.

Beautiful misty, hazy morning–laying low on the earth. Your haiku tells it so well.

Sad and evocative. I think of all those pollution filled areas and wonder if the earth is trying to grab our hands for comfort? or to slap them and ask “what have you done?”

Lovely, Victoria. The early mornings are often beautiful. It is a shame one must rise so early to see them.
