Monday Morning Writing Prompt–Daylight Savings Time

I hate Daylight Saving Time

Almost as a herald of the coming of spring, today we changed our clocks, one hour forward. It’s Daylight Saving Time here in California and in most of the USA

I’m enjoying weather that is summer-like while in the newspaper this morning I read about blizzards, flooding and, of course, the tragic earthquake and tsunami in Japan that is really having worldwide impact. Some of you are facing the end of summer. Wherever we are, weather and nature affect our daily lives. For today’s prompt, write a poem or short story related to weather or a natural phenomenon such as it impacts you right now. Here is a line to get you started, if you like, but don’t feel compelled to use this one:

About five-thirty the morning of Friday before day-light-saving-time…

I will submit mine on Thursday so I don’t influence your creative muse. Go ahead and post a link or your poem/story in comments if you would. I look forward to hearing from you.
