Vulnerability

The back of the head,
the fuzz on a baby’s crown,
the bare neck of a grown man
reveal secrets.

Plant then a kiss
or gentle touch.
Soothe the fragility
of creation

unaware.

Love the thoughts in this poem, Victoria. And the picture….there is something very soothing about the back of a head, I think. Whether human or canine or feline!

Beautiful piece Victoria – I have never read anything before that portrays vulnerability of affection so beautifully. Such a great concept with the word and truly soulful.
