beneath the old oak
dandelions ravish spring
splashing gold on grass

splishing yellow paint
in the old oak’s living room
dandelions dance

dandelions sprawl
rollick in spring rays of sun
stalwart oak looks on

I like this. whether intentional or not, each stanza contains dandelion, oak, and “color” cycling within. while I’ve been reading many verses about spring for several weeks, I am actually starting to see the fist visual signs of spring…

they def add playful fun color and joy to spring…my father in law used to make dandelion wine and pay the kids to pick them so he could make it….
