clothes
i.
some people chose clothes
to express who they are.
other dress in such a way
so as to seem like everyone else.
ii.
think of how much money
we would save
if adam and eve hadn’t screwed
things up for us.
iii.
on the other hand, consider
of the impact on the GNP.
iv.
colors reflect mood.
are people who wear black and white
rigid?
those who choose blue, blue?
and what of gray?
v.
if the whole world
went clothing optional,
some of us
would need ironing.

What a fun take on this photo prompt. I think many of us would agree that no clothes at certain stages in life is a real good thing. LOL

that brought the emperor’s new clothes story to me… things would be much easier if we hadn’t to wear clothes but then..it’s also nice to go shopping and look a bit different every once and a while…smiles

Yes, we would have much more money for sure if Adam and Eve had not eaten that apple. And..Well, the last stanza…how true….lots of ironing would be in order, I think! Clever writing, Victoria.

This was an amusing take on the prompt. I always find it interesting when I go to work and there will be a group of people all wearing the
same color..what makes everyone wear the same color on a particular day and it is usually an odd color like this week it was purple.

haha at the last stanza… if Adam and Eve didn’t mess everything up… hmm, I like wearing clothes, so I don’t mind their actions.. smiles.
By the way, please call me Anthony; I’ve always disliked the nickname, ‘Tony’.
