Victoria, the metaphor is excellent. So true! I have not done copper etchings, but I have done block printing, and you have to choose those lines deliberately, carefully. There is so much more than meets the eye, just like your poem.

Talking the talk can be easy–walking the walk existentially, responsible for our own actions, not so much.

I have seen examples of this in some handicrafts in our villages where the paintins are etched out of slate and they are really beautiful. I loved your inspiring piece.

I like how you use this printing technique as a metaphor. It is indeed the small things that define us, the choices, the daily choices. You spoke in these few words, a mountain. Simple, to the point and yet metaphysical. I wish for your talent to say much in few words.
