Submitted to Jenn’s Sensational Haiku Wednesday. The theme is Frost, and so is the title! http://youknowthatblog.com/
This was written a few months ago–maybe even last year–in Autumn. Right now, frost is all around us.
Frost
Last week, a first freeze
surprised our garden fairy.
Her flower wilted.
Awh that is soo sweet. I hope the fairy recovered :O)

To those of you worried about the fairy, I want to assure you that she is doing just fine. We brought her inside and she is basking under an African violet. :0)

If she was surprised then, goodness she must be positively frigid now. Hopefully she’s alright…fun little haiku.

I’m surprised that the fairy herself didn’t freeze! π

Poor garden fairy,
Her flower nipped in the bud,
That’s why she’s frosted!
Cheers!

I love those garden fairies. I also love the fairy gardens.
Very clever of you, having a surpised fairy. Next year perhaps she will be more seasoned.
Happy New Year! Thank you for your visit and the nice comment. Best wishes on the golf holiday. π

I bought a new driver on eBay last Friday. It came today; I will try it out tomorrow.
