Tahoe
Water laps the shore,
summer breezes inspire poets,
boulders tell stories.
Gently rocking boat
lulls agitated spirit,
sun warms the weary.

Your poem managed to add something to the image, which I hadn’t thought possible when I first saw the photograph. Well done, indeed.

I love the photo, the faces in the rocks (stones), clear lake, reflections, cool crisp air for a sharp mind. You words warm the weary in a kool way. I’ve had quite a two day pack. This is very nice; very very very nice. And boulders do tell stories, and allow places for poets to sit and listen and be inspired.

I love the rocks telling stories. Allow me a small indulgence, Victoria: I was shot like a canon ball across the distance, lava sizzling on my every bounce until I lay soothed and coddled in cold water.
